| As we all know the Z32 is the most difficult car in the world to work on. Therefore, I would like to propose that recognize those members who have performed some of the more difficult opeations of maintenance and upgrade.
Like the Boy Scouts, we could certify our member's mechnical skills and capabilities with something like merit badges. However, instead of a badge for Knot Tying, or Fire Starting; we could offer citations for Pre-Cat Removal, Subframe Drop, and so forth. While performing your own 60K maintenance is universally recognized on TT.Net as a rite passage; I suggest we offer special recognition to the member who finally found and removed those Top 2 Bolts on the Transmission housing (Ugh!). And Finally, the greatest honor we could bestore upon any members is Sainthood for those guys who removed their Driver's Side Pre-Cat w/o dropping the Trans. Of course there could be an award for taking apart your automobile and never getting it put back together again. But since I might win that one, I will delay this proposal until I have an operational Z32 again. Gordo
